5. Initial setup
5.1 Cleaning
The SQuape E[motion] has been thoroughly
cleaned before dispatch.
We still advise that you rinse all parts with
tepid water before first use and regularly af-
terwards. Please make sure all parts are well
dried before use.
CAUTION:
Do
not
E[motion]
as
long
wet or humid. Water can lead to short
circuits
and/or
***Before fi rst use, the enclosed deck
must be fi t into the base (see illustration
on page 12). We recommend to lubricate
the o-ring within the base with liquid/VG.
We also suggest to grease the following
o-rings after thorough cleaning with pure
VG (vegetable glycerin): O-ring base, afc
and topcap ring. This helps the smooth
functioning of the locking mechanism.
5.2 Switch between the positions
„vape", „refi ll" and „closed"
Grip the tank section (fig. 1) with one hand
and the locking cap (fig. 2) with the other
hand. Slightly twist clockwise the locking
cap untill you feel a second resistance.
This brings the tank into „closed"-mode.
A short counterclockwise twist from the
„closed"-mode till the filling holes showing
up (visible from above), brings the SQuape
E[motion] into „refill"-mode. After a second
counterclockwise twist and again untill
use
the
SQuape
as
parts
are
still
other
malfunctions.

SQuape E[motion] into „vape"-mode. The
liquid feed is completely sealed while you
are in „closed" and „refill"-mode and the
tank can be taken off the base, even though
the tank may is still filled with liquid. Please
keep in your mind, that no parts, like topcap
nor mouthpiece, has to be taken off to refill
your SQuape E[motion].
An upside down refill through the gap bet-
ween tank and chimney is not possible.
