THE USE
Care and cleaning
Do not immerse motor base or cord in water or any other liquid.
To disassemble:
1. Slide out juice container and drip tray.
2. To remove lid, open fully and apply pressure with thumbs as shown
in figure (1). Lid will unclip from the juicer chamber.
3. To prevent juice dripping remove the cones and juicing chamber
together.
4. Hold motor base with one hand and with the other grasp the juicing
chamber at the front and pull up over the drive shafts. The cones
will lift off with the juicing chamber, as shown in figure (2). The
cones may also be removed separately from the juicing chamber by
simply lifting them off the drive shafts.
5. The juice drip tray simply slides out for cleaning.
To clean:
All removable parts may be washed by hand in hot soapy water. Due to the
strong natural colorings in the skin of citrus fruits, the juicing chamber may
change color. To clean spread affected area with soda and water. Allow to
stand overnight and wash in hot soapy water. Do not place parts in the
dishwasher over 40 degrees, as the high temperatures and harsh cleaning
agents may adversely affect the parts. Wipe the motor base with a clamp
cloth. Do not immerse in water or any liquid.
To reassemble:
1. Replace juicing chamber onto motor base by sliding protruding lugs at the back of the
juicing chamber into the slots at the back of the motor base as shown in figure (3).
2. Place cones onto drive shafts.
3. Attach lid by clipping locating rods into the juicing chamber.
4. Slide drip tray into position along guide rails clipping rear tab into position. Juice
container will then slide into position for storage.
