Furnace check
If you have purchased your VITA MultiPump
together with one or more dental furnaces from
the above series, you can ignore the following
note.
If you have purchased your VITA MultiPump
separately and you would like to operate it with
existing VITA dental furnaces from the above
series, please check that your furnaces are
leak-tight. To do so, connect the VITA vacuum
pump without the VITA MultiPump to the
VITA furnaces to be tested.
In your VITA vPad excellence, go to the
"Settings" tab and under "Furnace settings",
select "Leak test." Perform the leak test. Once
your VITA dental furnace successfully passes
this leak test, you can use the VITA MultiPump
without any limitations. In the unlikely event that
your VITA dental furnace is not sufficiently
leak-tight, please contact the VITA service
department as specified below for details
of the next steps.

Once you have unpacked the contents of the
VITA MultiPump packaging, you will first need
the VITA vacuum pump. The aim is to first attach
the VITA MultiPump to the VITA vacuum pump
using the bracket provided for this purpose.
3
To do so, use the hex key provided to remove the
screws on the handle of the VITA vacuum pump.
