Laying instructions for the sensor cable
Important: The sensor wiring carries protective low voltage (SELV). Please
observe the installation procedures as specified by VDE 0100.
Connection of sensor:
For attachments with sensor input, the following fitting instructions must be observed:
Connection of sensor:
Laying under the surface (figure A):
Choose wiring suitable for embedded laying of the sensor line.
Recommendation: telephone line J-Y(ST)Y 2x2x0,6 mm. The wires of the sensor line
B
are then passed through insulation sleeving (supplied with the attachments with sensor
input). The line is then introduced together with the sleeving through the hole
insert and laid in the cable duct
sleeving must cover up the individual wires between the cable sheath and the connecting
terminal. The connecting terminal (supplied with the attachments with sensor input) is
placed inside the insert as shown in the figure.
Laying on the surface (RolloTec
(figure B):
The sensor line
through the opening
to the connecting terminal
must not form loops towards the 230 V terminal compartment.

The sensor/adaptor is connected to the attachment by a connector.
Connection of terminal block in the insert:
Connect sensor lines in acc. with the opposite diagram (figure).
Marking of the cable wires:
sensors
: 'ground' = marked.
adaptor, extension line
: 'Sun' = marked.
'ground' = central wire.
If the sun / twilight sensor and the glass breakage sensor are to be connected to the
device at the same time, it is necessary to use an adaptor (not included in the scope
of supply). The adapter is connected to the attachment with sensor input or to the
insert with the three-pole terminal. The adaptor has 2 female connectors for the
sensor plugs.
