Connection
If you connect the LED strips directly to the power pack, you should have
an on-site light switch at the power pack's 230 V connection so that the
light can be turned "on" and "off" on site However, it is not possible to
control the brightness levels of the connected LED strips in this
combination. Details regarding the connection to the on-site light switch
can be found in the respective documentation of the external components.
With a LIPROTEC Bluetooth receiver, you can control the brightness and
colour of the LED strips depending on the type and switch them "on" and
"off". However, we still recommend that you use an on-site light switch to
optimise ease of use.
6.2 Connecting loads
Too strong an application of the casing cover screws can wreck the installation.
Only apply light pressure.
If a screw can only be turned with considerable pressure, even if the housing is not
yet in place, check the right fit for the screw, cable and housing.
The LT EKE 24V200W type power pack has four connection terminals. You
can connect two components to them.
Proceed as follows to connect 24 V consumers to the power pack:
Unplug the power pack's mains plug from the socket.
Wait 10 seconds after unplugging the mains plug.
Run the connection cable from the LED strip, Bluetooth receiver or installation box to
the power pack.
Make sure that the connection cable is laid with strain relief.
Make sure that the strands of the wire ends are soldered or fitted with end sleeves.
Loosen the housing cover's screws next to the "24 V DC" label (see Fig. D, Item 2).
Remove the screws and store them safely.
Pull the housing cover up and off (see Fig. D, Item 1).
Make sure that the connection cable design and the connection to the connection
terminals comply with the local regulations.
Lay the connection cable to the power pack's connection terminals. Ensure the correct
polarity while doing so.
Proceed as follows to ensure the strain relief:
Place the cable in the strain relief's clamping area so that the non-stripped part is
detected by both terminal strips (see Fig. D, Item 3).
Ensure that the individual wires are strain-relieved.
