Switching the appliance on:

Note: If a number other than '0' appears in the display, you can find out what this message means in
the table below. The safety light will continue flashing as long as the error is present.

air. Try again.
The heater will automatically try to ignite 3 times.
Turn off after use!
Never extinguish the flame with water.
To extinguish the heater's flame, turn the ON/OFF button to OFF and preferably remove the plug from
the outlet (this will prevent unintentional use).
What to do if the heater does not ignite or extinguishes itself:
Check the message on the display screen.
Message 0: Stand-by. Set the heater to setting 1 to start it.
Message 1: The heater is turned on.
Message 3: The burner is (still) too warm for safe ignition: allow the heater to cool off (for about 20
minutes) until 3-3-3 disappears and restart it (1).
Message 4: Burning is insufficient: check whether there is enough Bio-Ethanol in the bottle. Replace
the bottle if it is empty.
Message 5: Insufficient ventilation: ensure that the heater is not used in closed space. Always ,make
sure that there is sufficient ventilation in the space. Turn the heater off, ventilate the space and ensure
that the space is continuously sufficiently ventilated; turn the heater on again and try again.
Message 6: The fuel compartment door is not closed correctly: Close the heater's door, set the heater
status to 1 and try again.
Message 7: Fluid has entered the 2

Message 8: The heat has exceeded the legally permitted maximum burning duration of 6 hours per 24
hours and will be turned off automatically. This only applies to heaters bought in France that comply
with the French standard and guidelines.
Message 9: The heater's sensor has detected shocks or has been jolted. The heater has turned itself
off in order to prevent possible risks (toppling over). Set the heater status to 1 and try again.
