1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The user manual is designed to assist in the safe and
trouble-free use of the device. The product is designed
and manufactured in accordance with strict technical
guidelines,
using
state-of-the-art
technologies
components. Additionally, it is produced in compliance
with the most stringent quality standards.
DO NOT USE THE DEVICE UNLESS YOU HAVE
THOROUGHLY READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS
USER MANUAL.
To increase the product life of the device and to ensure
a trouble-free operation, use it in accordance with this user
manual and regularly perform the maintenance tasks. The
technical data and specifications in this user manual are
up to date. The manufacturer reserves the right to make
changes associated with quality improvement.
Legend
The product satisfies the relevant safety
standards.

Note: Laser beam. It is forbidden to look at the
laser light. Class 2 laser; λ: 650nm; P≤1mW. EN
60825-1:2014.

2. Usage safety
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in an electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury or even death.
Whenever „device" or „product" are used in the warnings
and instructions, it shall mean Self Leveling Cross Line-
Laser with Tripod Stand and Case. Do not use in very humid
environments or in the direct vicinity of water tanks.
When in use, do not put your hands or other items inside
the device!

2.1. Safety at the workplace

a)
Make sure the workplace is orderly and well lit.
A messy or poorly lit workplace may lead to accidents.
Try to anticipate what may happen, observe what is
going on and use common sense when working with
the device.
b)
Upon discovering damage or irregular operation,
immediately switch the device off and report it to
a supervisor without delay.
c)
If there are any doubts as to the correct operation
of the device, contact the manufacturer's support
service.
d)
Only the manufacturer's service point may repair the
device. Do not attempt any repairs independently!
e)
Children or unauthorised persons are forbidden from
entering a work station. (A distraction may result in
and
a loss of control over the device).
REMEMBER! When using the device, protect
children and other bystanders.

2.2. Personal safety

a)
Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can significantly impair the ability to operate the
device.
b)
When working with the device, use common sense
and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration whilst
using the device may lead to serious injuries.
c)
Use personal protection equipment as required
for working with the device, specified in section 1
(Legend). The use of correct, approved personal
protection equipment reduces the risk of suffering
an injury.
d)
Do not overestimate your abilities. When using the
device keep your balance and remain stable at all
times. This will ensure better control over the device
in unexpected situations.
e)
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair,
clothes and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothing, jewellery or long hair may get caught in
moving parts.
2.3. Safe device use
a)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.

b)
Maintain the device in a good technical state. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
c)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
d)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
e)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
f)
When transporting and handling the device between
the warehouse and the destination, take into account
the occupational health and safety principles for
manual transport operations which apply in the
country where the device will be used.
g)
It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of
the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
h)
It is forbidden to direct the laser beam towards
people, animals and surfaces that reflect light. The
laser beam can seriously damage eyesight.
3. Use guidelines
The linear laser is a device designed to determine verticals
and levels on a given surface.
The user is responsible for any damage resulting from
non-intended use of the device.

3.2. Device description/ Preparing for use
Usage:
Insert the batteries into the device in order to start
working with the device.
Then unlock the device by moving the button (9).

The laser line display is activated by single pressing
the appropriate button: vertical (1), horizontal (2).
The device can stand directly on the base (8) or on
the adjustable tripod during operation.
Block the device after use (9).
In order to change the height of the tripod, it is necessary
to release the safety clamps and then extend the legs to the
desired height. Secure again with clamps.
In order to mount the device on the tripod, it is necessary
to screw the base of the device to the tripod. Then secure
with a screw.
Visibility of the laser beam varies depending on the lighting
of the room in which it operates: in daylight – 5m in
darkness – 100m. In a well-lit space, the laser beam may
be invisible.

3.3. Cleaning and maintenance

Use cleaner without corrosive substances to clean
surface.
Store the unit in a dry, cool location, free from
moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
Do not leave the battery in the device, if it will not be
used for a longer amount of time.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES.
2x LR6 (AA) batteries are installed in the device
If the beam starts to weaken after switching on the
laser, it is necessary to replace the batteries.
In order to replace the battery supplying the laser, it
is necessary to remove the flap which is the element
of the housing, insert the batteries in accordance
with the markings and drawings on the device. Close
the flap.
Worn batteries must be removed from the device
proceeding analogously to their installation. Recycle
batteries.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device to municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to electric and electrical device recycling and
collection point. Check the symbol on the product, user
manual and packaging. The plastics used to construct the
device can be recycled in accordance with their markings.
By recycling, you are making a significant contribution to
the protection of our environment. Contact local authorities
for information on your local recycling facility.
