Intended Use

The article is suitable for use as a vertical bicycle stand for almost all customary
sports bikes, children's bicycles, city bikes etc.
Modifi cations or attachments to the bicycle (e.g. a bicycle basket, saddle bags) may
in some circumstances mean that the bicycle no longer fi ts in the article.
The article is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. However, it should not be exposed
to persistent wet conditions (risk of rusting!).
The article is designed for personal use only and is not intended for commercial
applications.
The article should only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is
deemed to be improper. Store the instructions in a safe place.
The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han-
dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear
and tear.

Safety Instructions

WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from chil-
dren and animals.
CAUTION – Danger of Injury!
The article is not a toy! Children may not climb on or hang from the article. Chil-
dren must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the article.
Before setting up the article, ensure that it has been assembled correctly and all
connections are fi rmly screwed together.
NOTE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
Place the article on a level, fi rm and hard-wearing surface.
Before placing the bicycle into the article, remove all loose objects from bicycle bas-
kets, saddle bags, the pannier rack or similar places.
Make sure that there is no imbalance on the bicycle, e.g. caused by a bicycle lock
attached on one side, bags placed on the sides etc. to prevent it from falling over.
Make sure that the bicycle is placed in the article at an angle of > 90° so that the
centre of gravity is on the rear tube and the holder for the seat post. This will prevent
the bicycle from accidentally falling out of the article.
Protect the article from heat, naked fl ames, extreme temperatures, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and collisions.
Clean the article only with a damp cloth and a little mild cleaning agent if necessary.
Do not clean it with aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or cloths. These could
damage the surfaces.

Items Supplied and Article Overview

1. Take all parts out of the packaging and place them on a level surface. To be on the safe
side, place a protective fi lm underneath the parts to prevent any damage to the surface.
2. Remove all packaging materials from the working area. Only dispose of the packaging
material once all parts have been examined for completeness and transport damage
