Cleaning:
∙
Never immerse the complete appliance into the water.
∙ Unplug the power cord from the socket and put the switch to
"Off"
∙ The appliance must cool down completely.
∙ Remove the inner pot and clean it with a mild detergent (Do
not use any aggressive cleaner, like steel wool.).
∙ Clean the heating plate and the contact area of the thermostat
at the outer pot with a damp cloth, take care that the thermo-
stat gets not deformed.
∙ Wash and dry the inlet of the lid carefully. Due to hygeni rea-
sons the lid must be cleaned after every use!
Danger of foam:
Never put egg, milk, cream or similar to the rice. Always, wash the rice before coo-
king. Else there could be foam during cooking.
Working place:
Important: The appliance must never be placed on or next to a hot surface (e.g. hot
plate). The appliance must only be used on a flat, stable and temperature resisting
surface. It must be taken care that there are no inflammable things near to the appli-
ance.
Due to the escaping steam it must be taken care that there is no damage to any woo-
den cupboards hanging over the appliance.
Cleaning before the first use:
∙ All accessories and the inner pot should be removed and cleaned with a mild deter-
gent.
∙ Dry all parts carefully.
∙ Clean the lid and the outer housing with a damp cloth
Push the power switch before and after each use.
Cooking rice:
Place the inner pot into the appliance. It must be ensured that no rice corn sticks
to the heating plate or to the pot button, as this will have a negative effect on the
control.
