Helpful tips:
Always let the device heat up before using it. During the pre-heating process, you
can arrange the foods you would like to prepare.
If you suspect that food is "sticking" to the plates, add a drop of oil to the plates
before placing the food on them and distribute it with a pastry brush.
2. To insert a plate in the device, place the long catches of the
plate under the corresponding holders in the device (see
fi gure). It is not important whether you insert the bottom or
upper plate fi rst.
3. Then push the plate on the "open" side into the device by
applying slight pressure until the short catches on the plate
audibly lock into place (see fi gure).
4. A latch (see fi gure) is located on the bottom and on the top
part of the device. If you would like to take the plates out of the
device or change them, you must push the corresponding latch
towards the handle; the plate will be ejected out of the device
and can be removed.
