Adjusting Depth

Loosen depth control indicator screws
on both sides of the depth control until
it moves freely.

Slide the depth control until the depth
control indicator screw head is posi-
tioned over the desired screw length
gauge (Fig. 3). Tighten the screws
securely.

Manually pull the depth control all the
way back toward the tool. For a flush
screw, rotate the stop nut until bit ex-
tends approximately 1/8" (3 mm) past
the end of the depth control (Fig. 4).

Drive a test screw. Rotate stop nut until
desired driving depth is achieved.
Installing Collated Screw Strips
Feed screw strip through belt guide (Fig. 5)
and over the gear wheel (Fig. 6) until last
empty hole is over the bit (Fig. 7).

NOTE: To remove screws, continue to pull
over the gear wheel. Do not pull out from
the bottom. This will damage the gear
wheel.
