10. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
No maintenance is necessary during the normal operation of the pump. It may be necessary to clean some hydraulic
parts which have lost a little of their initial characteristics. Only specialised and qualified personnel, who comply with
the requirements established by the specific regulations, can disassemble the pump. We recommend disassembly by
technicians specialising in the brand. All repair and maintenance work must be performed after disconnecting the
pump from the electrical current.
11. MODIFICATIONS AND PARTS
BOMBAS SACI, S.A. shall not be responsible in the case of modifications without previous authorisation. All the parts
used for repairs must be original ones and all the accessories must be authorised by the manufacturer in order to
guarantee maximum safety of the machines and of the facilities in which they are assembled.

and it does not make a
noise
• The motor does not start
but it makes a noise
• The motor does not
rotate well
A. Check the power supply connection.
B. Check the voltage reaches the motor.
C. Check the protection fuses (or the circuit
breaker).
A. Check that the electrical voltage corresponds
to that on the pump nameplate.
B. Check the correct connections have been
made.
C. Check that all the phases reach the terminal
box (only in three-phase version).
D. Look for possible obstructions in the pump.
E. Check the state of the condenser (only in
single-phase version).
A. Ensure that sufficient voltage is reaching the
motor terminals.
B. Check that moving parts are not touching the
fixed parts of the pump.
C. Replace them if they are blown (or reset
the circuit breaker).
B. Correct any mistakes.
C. Reset the missing phase.
D. Remove the elements which prevent the
rotation of the pump.
E. Replace the condenser with one of equal
capacity.
