You can control when you start and stop sewing either via the Ein / Stand-by button or via the
foot control.
PLEASE nOtE!
❐ Make sure that the Ein / Stand-by button is not depressed when you connect and use the
foot control!
❐ Ensure that there is nothing resting on the foot control when the sewing machine is not in
use!
threading in the upper thread
The sewing machine has two holders for the upper thread: the bobbin holder for the upper
thread on which you can attach the bobbin which is supplied with the device, and the thread
spool pin onto which you can plug any spool of thread you want.
For the 3-thread function (sewing with two upper threads and one lower thread), use both
holders at the same time.
PLEASE nOtE!
❐ Make sure when you choose the thread that it is suitable for sewing machines. A thread
which is not suitable may, for example, quickly rip during sewing.

2. Insert 4 x 1.5 V AA batteries. Pay attention to the correct
polarity (+ / –).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and slide it shut. It
must engage audibly.

Always have spare batteries available and replace the batteries
when the performance of the sewing machine begins to diminish.
1. Connect the adapter cable to the associated socket on the
sewing machine.
2. Plug the adapter plug into an easily accessible plug socket which
corresponds to the technical data.
3. To disconnect the device from the mains, first pull the adapter
plug out of the plug socket and then pull the adapter cable out
of the socket on the device.

Connect the plug on the foot control cable to the associated
socket on the sewing machine and then place the foot control
on the floor.
•
When you press your foot down on the foot control, the
sewing machine runs. If you release your foot from the foot
control, the sewing machine stops.
