Open the battery compartment cover (1) by turning it counter-clockwise using a

coin or similar.
Remove the discharged battery.

Insert the battery so that the positive end goes in first (as shown by the markings in

the battery compartment).
Close the battery compartment cover again by turning it clockwise using a coin or
X
similar.
Low battery indicator
The device monitors the condition of the battery. If the display shows "Lo", this indica-
tes that the battery is almost used up. You can still make a small number of measure-
ments. It is recommended to replace the battery at the next occasion.
