9.3 Wiring the LOGO! 8 TP EduTrainer

The LOGO! 8 TP EduTrainer
Voltage must be supplied by and external 24 V DC voltage source. Festo Didactic power packs, which are
available as plug-in variants for the ER mounting frame or as benchtop variants, can be used for this
purpose.

9.4 Installing the LOGO! 8 TP EduTrainer

The LOGO! 8 TP EduTrainer
• In the mounting frame of the Festo Didactic laboratory equipment system
•
On the profile plate or
•
As a benchtop device
One adapter set (order no. 541122) is required for use on the profile plate.

9.5 Programming

LOGO! can be programmed in two different ways:
•
Without a PC using the control unit of the LOGO! Basic
•
With a PC using LOGO! Soft Comfort programming software which is available to this end
We recommend using LOGO! Soft Comfort in order to program the LOGO!.
LOGO! Soft makes it possible to:
•
Create and load control programs (also known as switching programs)
• Simulate control programs
•
Document and archive control programs
