If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you
are able to rectify the problem yourself.

Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical
device yourself!
Possible cause / solution
Are the batteries too weak or incorrectly
inserted? If necessary, insert new bat-
teries or check the polarity (see the "In-
serting / Changing Batteries" section).
Is too much pressure being exerted?
For safety reasons, the device stops
automatically when too much pressure
is applied on the skin.
The roller (9) is worn. Replace the
roller (9) (see the "Changing the Roller"
chapter).
