Troubleshooting
• It is not possible to switch the machine on.
Possible Cause:
The appliance has no power supply.
Remedy:
- Check the socket with another appliance.
- Plug in the mains plug correctly.
- Check the main circuit breaker.
Possible Cause:
The appliance is faulty.
Remedy:
Contact our service center or a specialist.
Possible Cause:
After being used without or with too little water the
machine has not cooled down sufficiently.
Remedy:
Allow the machine to cool down for 10 min.
• The machine switches off before the water has boiled.
Possible Cause:
The heating base is severely calcified or the electric circuit
of the socket is overloaded.
Remedy:
- Descale the machine as instructed.
- Check the mains connection.
• The machine does not switch off.
Possible Cause:
The lid is not set correctly onto the container.
Remedy:
Set the lid so onto the water container that the grip on the
lid and the grip on the appliance are joined.
• The boiling process takes unusually long.
Possible Cause:
The voltage selector is not set correctly.
Remedy:
1. Set the switch to O. Unplug the mains plug!
2. Pour out the water.
3. Set the voltage selector to the correct voltage.
