• This appliance is intended only for dry use and may not be used outdoors
under damp conditions.
• Operation should be carried out exclusively by trained staff in observance
of the operating instructions.
• Contact with parts which conduct electricity leads to the danger of an electric shock which
can result in serious injury or even death. Never touch damaged cables! Replace damaged
cables immediately! Replacement cables can be obtained exclusively from the manufacturer
(Art. No. 7418).
• In order to prevent unauthorised use of the appliance, the Jetvac should be kept in
a suitable room.
• Maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by authorised experts familiar with all the
relevant safety measures or by the manufacturer.
• When working, please pay attention to the surrounding circumstances, in particular third
parties and children.
• Without exception, only original attachments and original parts my be used, otherwise the
guarantee will lapse.
• Switch off the appliance if you are :
- cleaning it
- switching over to other functions (e.g. changing tools)
- carrying out maintenance
- changing parts subject to wear and tear
- leaving the appliance
• Switch the mains switch to the OFF position and pull the plug from the socket.
• The temperatures may not be lower than +5°C or higher than +35°C. Low temperatures, damp
and dust can seriously reduce the service life of the electronics.
• Never use the appliance without a dust bag or motor filter and ensure that these are clean and
have been attached correctly.
• Do not use the appliance when the air supply is blocked. Keep the appliance free of dust, hair,
fluff and other foreign bodies which may negatively affect the air current.
Warning: Never work on electrical connections with wet or moist hands!
Caution: P lease ensure that a technical examination of the appliance is carried out
at least once a year.
First use
As a rule, delivery, instruction on safety stipulations, use and maintenance as well as the first
commissioning are carried out by an authorised VERMOP specialist. Should this not be the case, the
operating company shall be responsible for the instruction of the operator.
