Warning:
Never work on electrical connections with wet or moist hands!
Caution:
Please ensure that a technical examination of the appliance is carried out
at least once a year.

Special safety instructions: Battery charger (Jetvac accu)

• Check the charger as well as the electrical connections (cables) for cracks and signs of aging.
• Use and store the charger indoors and in a dry environment. The operating temperature lies between
+5°C and +35°C, the storage temperature between -10°C and +45°C.
• Do not pull on the cable when removing the charger from the electrical socket.
Always grip the plug, not the cable.
• Do not use the charger when the plug, cable or casing are damaged.
• If the charger has been damaged, it must be submitted to an authorised service for repair.
• The charger is intended only for use with the rechargeable battery pack supplied
and may be used only with this pack.

Special safety instructions: Rechargeable battery (Jetvac accu)

• Do not open the battery pack, otherwise the guarantee will lapse.
• Do not remove the battery pack from the appliance when it is in operation.
• Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer.
• If a battery pack has been damaged, do not use it, as there is a serious danger of injury.
Contact the manufacturer or an authorised specialist.
• Do not dispose of the battery pack in domestic refuse, but hand it in at a suitable collection point.
• Do not short-circuit the battery back, do not take it apart, do not throw it into the fire.
The battery pack can explode.
• Do not drop the battery pack.
• The poles of the li-ion battery pack may not come into contact with objects which conduct electricity,
either accidentally or intentionally, as this can lead to a short circuit.
• Please ensure that the contact pins and contact studs are absolutely free of dirt and moisture!!
• Do not store the battery pack in a damp environment and do not put it down on a wet surface.
• Never store or charge a battery pack at under 5°C or over 35°C.

• Ideally, the battery pack should be charged at an ambient temperature of 20°C.
• If the appliance switches off during operation (display low batt.)
re-charge the battery pack completely.
• Always remove the battery pack before changing attachments and for maintenance work.
Warning:
If a battery pack is damaged, keep it under observation of at least 30 minutes after
the damage has occurred. Extinguish burning cells or packs with a fire blanket, fire
extinguisher or sand. Do not use water to extinguish a fire!

First use

As a rule, delivery, instruction on safety stipulations, use and maintenance as well as the first
commissioning are carried out by an authorised VERMOP specialist. Should this not be the case, the
operating company shall be responsible for the instruction of the operator.

Inserting and replacing dust bag

Caution:
Switch off the appliance and pull out the plug if you wish to
replace the dust bag!
[08] Open the flap as shown.
[09] Remove the suction hose (3, 4) by lightly turning towards the left and pulling out
the bayonet connection.
[11] Remove the dust bag (9) and dispose of it correctly. Insert a new dust bag (9). Please note that the
dust bag must be inserted into the guides on the inside of the casing.

Assembling accessories

[09] Attach the suction hose (3, 4) to the appliance (1, 2). The suction hose (3, 4) is locked in position to the
appliance (1, 2) by simple insertion and a light turn to the right.
[07] Insert the telescopic tube (5) into the suction hose (3, 4). Attach the suction nozzle (6) or other suction
attachment supplied by the manufacturer (7, 8) onto the telescopic tube.
Adjust the telescopic tube to your height.
In order to reduce suction briefly (e.g. to allow the appliance to glide more easily over long-piled
carpets), open the false air intake on the handle of the suction hose (3, 4).
Warning:
Working without a dust bag and motor filter can lead to damage to
the appliance and is not permitted!
