Thank you for purchasing the Lindy Composite / S-Video with Audio to HDMI Converter. This product has
been designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2-year warranty
and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it
for future reference.
The device converts Composite or S-Video with audio signals from legacy analogue source devices to a
digital HDMI output for modern HDMI displays or projectors. A built-in scaler allows the user to adjust
signals to either 720p or 1080p dependant on compatibility with HDMI displays.

Installation
▪
Connect your Composite / S-Video source device to the converter using a Composite or S-video
cable. Using an HDMI cable, connect your display or projector to the converter.

Connect the USB DC Power cable to the converter, then power on the source device, display and
converter.
▪
For external audio devices such as speakers or headphones, connect a 3.5 mm audio cable to the
device's audio port.
Operation
▪
Once installed, to select an input, simply press the input button to cycle between these two options.
▪
To scale the output resolution, Press the 720p/1080p button on the converter to cycle between
resolutions.
Please note: The full feature set of HDMI is only available through HDMI 1.4 connections. When
connected to a HDMI 2.0 or higher port, no audio will be output.
