Please read through this instruction carefully before you use the
device.
Intended Use
• For lifting glass, marble and other smooth materials.
• Vacuum fastening of hand tools for lifting and supporting loads. A pump with
spring balancer guarantees a constant vacuum pressure.
• Use only on clean, relatively smooth and non-porous surfaces. Surface
moisture and contamination can reduce the retention force of the suction.
Only for Vacuum Lifters with hand-operated Pump Art. 4000817243:
For Fixing
• Place the suction disc on the installation surface. The red line on the piston
must be visible.
CAUTION: Check the suction disc in particular for dirt and deformation in case
of use on light-coloured surfaces or on soft coatings.
• Pump the piston until the suction disc adheres completely. When the red line is
not visible, the vacuum pressure is sufficient for lifting work.
• Check the piston again and again in order to guarantee that the suction disc
remains securely stuck. If the red line appears during the lift procedure, take the
load off immediately and activate the piston until it disappears again.
For Loosening
• Place the load on a secure underground.
• Pull out one of the unlocking pins or activate the valve unlocking lever (case of
other suction discs) until the disc has completely detached.
Notes for all Models
Safety Notes
• Vacuum lifters are hand tools. They may
not be used in connection with a crane or
other lifting apparatus.
• Before every use, it is to be ensured that
the suction surface is smooth, clean,
undamaged and free from cracks.
