Assembly instructions
Once you have assembled your gas plancha, place it on a stable and sturdy construction.
Check that the four pins (114) are not out of plumb.
When fitting your plancha, be careful of the piping fixtures (501), the end piece (505), seal (506) and dripping-pan (081).
Never place the plancha directly on the ground.
These checks guarantee proper setting of your plancha.
Reminder of the elementary precautions for putting the plancha in place in its built structure
Never place the barbecue directly on the ground.
Use outdoors only.
Place your plancha on a stable and sturdy construction.
Check that the four pins (114) are placed on a level part and are not out of plumb.
Your built structure should be large enough to house the plancha.
Leave a 150mm gap between the edge of the drum and any brickwork.
Please use non-flammable material for your support building (bricks, tiles, stanless steel, ...)
When fitting your plancha, be careful not to knock or damage the piping fixtures (501), the end piece (505) or the seal (506).
The gas pipe must be accessible along its full length; do not set the pipe in the brickwork.
Make sure that the fat/oil collector is accessible and can be easily removed from the drum. This fat/oil collector must be cleaned every time you
use the plancha.
Do not seal or brick in the plancha drum. Leave enough room for the air to circulate around it (150mm) to avoid the appliance overheating and
to ensure the correct function of the gas section.
If you place your plancha on a table. Use a table covered with a non-flammable material (such as tiles, fire brick, stainless steel plate, tempered
safety glass etc.).
Never place your plancha on a table covered with a flammable material (such as plastics or wooden materials etc.)
Gas connections
Only use a regulator authorised by the country authorities.
Use an appropriate regulator that complies with standard EN16129.
NOTE: You may find for sale regulator which do not provide recognised pressure (table below)
For the following countries: (BE, CH, ES, FR, GR, IT, LU, MT, PT, GB, PL, RO)
The plancha is delivered with the tail piece (505) and the washer (506).
Connect the gas line as per standard XP D36-110 (FR) on clamping devices or other standards in the destination countries on valve taps.
Beforehand you should moisten the tail piece with a little soapy water and check that the expiry date of the gas supply tube has not passed.
The length of the tube must be suitable for your needs, never exceeding 1.5 regulation metres.
At a shop you can find screw-on connecting pipes compliant with standard NF D36-125 or XP D36-112. In this case, unscrew the tap (505) that is mounted on
the valve inlet. The thread is a standardised G ½ thread – screw the connection pipe onto your tap inlet, ensuring that the sealing washer has been attached to
the connecting pipe. In this case, you should carry out the sealing test described.
For the following countries: (CZ, CY, DK, EE, FI, HU, IS, LT, LV, MT, NO, NL, SE, SI, SK, TR).
The plancha is delivered without the tail piece (505) or the washer (506).
Check that the expiry date of the gas supply tube has not passed. The length of the tube must be suitable for your needs, never exceeding
1.5 regulation metres. Screw the gas connection pipe, provided with a G ½ nut, ensuring that there is a sealant washer on the threaded
outlet (501). Any modification to the equipment could be dangerous. Do not modify the appliance. The parts protected by the manufacturer
or his agent must not be handled by the user. ATTENTION: Never use the plancha without the regulator.
When using the plancha, move the gas bottle as far away as possible from the heat source, placing it to the side of the plancha.
Use 6 kg or 13 kg gas tanks with a maximum height including the regulator of 600mm and a maximum diameter including the regulator of 505 mm.
In case of smell of gas, close the gas container tap and test the airtightness.
