2G: Introduce the
sewn terminations
of both rope bridges
from inside to outside
through the elliptical
holes of the front D
ring. Note: Both rope
ends must be oriented
in the same direction
– facing outward from
the body of the user if
the harness is put on.
2J: Repeat on the second side. Do not forget to put the sliding T ring on to
one or both rope bridges. The ring may also be attached to one rope bridge
only. Alternatively one sliding T ring may be used on each rope bridge. The
ropes must not be twisted and they must be fully parallel.
The sliding T ring must be free to move from one front D ring to the other
without being blocked by the sewn rope ends.
2H: Introduce one dog
bone through both rope
eyes. Ensure that the dog
bone is correctly orient-
ed, i.e. on the outside face
of the forward D rings and
as shown in the picture
(only torque rating visible
and tight fit of metal dog
bone on forward D ring)!

2I: Fix the dog bone to
the front D ring using two
M5x16 mm A2 stainless
steel screws and self-se-
curing nuts M5 A2 stain-
less steel Nyloc. Tighten
all bolts to the approved
torque rating of 5 Nm.
New nuts must be used
every time. Note: The
locking nuts and end of
the bolts must lie below
the inner surface of the
forward D rings. The bolt
must extend at least 1mm
through the locking nut.
