Setting of the measuring unit
Press the mode button (2) for more than 2 seconds. Die indication for the measu-
ring unit (3) changes from meters to yards or vice versa.
Measuring
After selecting the measuring method, target the object by pointing the reticle (1)
to the center of the object. Press the start button (3). Now the distance indication
(2) displays the measured distance. If measuring was successfully the metering
quality indicator (5) displays: QUALITY ›››››››› The more arrows appear, the better
the refl ection was while measuring. If measuring failed the distance indication (2)
shows 3 dashes ---. Possible cause of the problem: Check the minimum distance of
5 m to the object and measure again.
Remark
The quality of the measurement strongly depends on the structure of the object
and of the weather and visibility conditions. The more straight the laser beam
strikes an object, the greater distances can be measured.
Power O
If the rangefi nder is not in use for 15 seconds, it will shut o automatically.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Low Battery
If the BATT symbol appears in the display (7), the battery power is insu cient. To
avoid inaccurate measurements please replace the battery by a fresh one. When
as branches, electricity wires or others will not be
considered for the measurement.
Standard mode
