Ventilation solution for a 3-room flat
with LD 30 BK (bathroom) and LD 45
(living spaces) ventilation units
The LD 30 in the bathroom aerates and ven-
tilates the room at the same time in balanced
mode. A fan in the unit extracts air and first
transfers the exhaust air heat to the heat
storage tank. Another fan in the unit pumps
the supply air into the room across the heat
storage tank, which gives off this heat. Every
60 seconds, the air direction changes, thereby
permitting a ventilation mode with constant
heat recovery.
Intensive ventilation can be activated via a
humidity sensor or manually with a button if
the humidity is high and/or if the air quality is
inadequate.
30
Pure exhaust air mode is also possible and
here the two fans pump out humidity (no heat
recovery).
Combined with LD 45 single-room ventilation
units for supply air rooms, a decentralised
ventilation system for flats can also be pro-
duced for redevelopment projects.
Then the LD 45 units ensure an increased
supply of air and therefore balanced ventila-
tion, even if exhaust air mode is sometimes
used.
