(A) near the appliance with magnetothermal release
and differential block.
2) If present, open the doors (B) and unscrew the screws
(C) to dismantle the instrument panel (D).
3) Connect the circuit breaker switch (A) to the terminal
board (H) as shown in the figure and wiring diagrams at
the end of the manual. The connection lead used must
have features no less than type H07RN-F with working
temperature of at least 80°C, with section adequate to
the appliance (see the technical data tables).
4) Pass the lead through the cable gland and tighten the
cable clamp, connect the leads in their corresponding
positions on the terminal board and secure them.
The yellow-green earth lead must be longer than the
others so that if the cable clamp breaks the earth lead
disconnects after the voltage leads.
5) If the power lead is damaged it must be replaced
with a special one type H05RNF or H07RNF by the
manufacturer or authorised service centres, or by
somebody with similar qualifications in order to
prevent all risks.

APPLIANCE INSPECTION
Important
Before starting up, the appliance must be inspected in
order to evaluate the working conditions of each single
component and to identify any anomalies.
In this phase it is important to check that all the health and
safety conditions are strictly observed.
For the inspection make the following checks:
1) Check the grid voltage is compatible with the appliance.
2) Turn on the automatic circuit breaker switch to control
the electric wiring is correct.
3) Check the safety devices work correctly.
After inspection, if required train the operators so they
have all the necessary skills for starting and operating the
appliance safely as envisaged by current law in the country
of installation.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ATTENTION !
The appliances must be supervised when in use and never
be left working empty.
The leds show when all the equipment is turned on or off.
The appliances do not require particular settings by
specialised operators apart from the normal settings made
when being used.
Only use the accessories as indicated by the manufacturer.
When the appliances are used the first time, there could
be a pungent or burnt smell, which disappears completely
after the next two or three uses.
After use the area remains hot for a while, even if the
appliance is turned off (residual heat). Avoid touching
them and keep children at a safe distance!
These rules are very important and if they are ignored
appliance malfunctions could occur with serious risk for
the operators.
This appliance should not be used by anybody with
limited mental or physical abilities (nor children), or
anyone without adequate experience and knowledge,
unless this is under the supervision or instruction in use by
a supervisor responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play
with the appliance.
USING THE ELECTRIC GRILLS
Start up
Before using the appliance the first time it is advisable
to carefully clean the tank (see paragraph "CARE OF THE
APPLIANCE"). Check the appliance wiring and start it as
instructed.
Turn on (Fig. 6)
Fill the tank with about 2 cm of water.
To work correctly, the tank must be continuously
topped up taking care not to wet the heating elements
while the appliance is on as the thermal shock could
damage them.
Turn on the main switch upstream from the appliance.
Turn the power setting knob (A) towards the widest part
of the printed graphics to get the highest power level. To
decrease the power, turn the knob towards the narrow
part of the graphics. To turn the appliance off, turn the
knob (A) to "0" and turn off the main switch.
To clean the electric grill turn the knob to "CLEAN" for
about 10 minutes, this carbonises all the residues which
makes cleaning easier once it has cooled down. The
electric grill is not designed for use with saucepans.
Emptying the tank and cleaning (Fig. 7)
Raise the electric grill heating element (B) vertically until
the pin (A) enters the bracket. After cleaning pull the pin
(A) and carefully accompany the electric grill heating
element (B) back to the normal horizontal position.
Turning on, setting and turning off models with
electronic BFLEX controls (Fig. 9)
With the electric grill off and the power lead connected to
the power grid the display "A" shows "OFF".
To turn the electric grill on, press knob "B" for a few seconds,
"50" appears on the display which corresponds to a cyclic
setting of 50% of power with continuous on and offs.
To change the value, quickly press knob "B" and turn it.
When the display shows the new required value, press
knob "B" again to store the new value or wait a few seconds:
