*when cleaning the appliance
▪ NEVER pull the cord itself to pull the plug from the socket.
▪ NEVER use extension cords and ALWAYS unroll the cord completely
▪ NEVER use the cord in the proximity of sources of heat, such as ovens, stoves or
heating
▪ Repairs can only be executed by a recognized expert or a recognized repair shop.
▪ The appliance is intended for household use and cannot be used for more than 1
minute at a time.
▪ Persons who haven't read this instruction manual cannot use this appliance.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

▪ Remove all packaging and stickers.
▪ Before the first use we recommend to clean all components thoroughly (see
'Cleaning').
▪ Ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance is the same as your main voltage.
According to the safety law: only use earthed sockets.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

▪ CAUTION: NEVER put the blender on a wet surface or a wet cloth. NEVER let the
motor block get in contact with any liquid. If however, this would occur,
immediately pull out the plug from the socket and bring the appliance to a
recognized expert.
▪ Use only wooden, rubber or plastic cooking utensils. NEVER use force to push food
down into the jug or to remove food from the knives.
▪ Grinding meat or coffee beans, beating up egg white, making dough and chopping
chocolate is not possible with a blender.
▪ CAUTION: NEVER put your hands or any sort of cooking utensils into the jug,
while it is placed onto the motor block.
▪ Don't add hot/boiling liquids to the blender, You could get burned by hot steam
upon opening the lid.
Tips for preparing food
▪ First add the liquids to the jug. Cut the solid food (vegetables, cheese, seafood,...)
in chunks of +/-2cm. Don't overburden the motor by using to many or to solid
ingredients. If the motor jams, immediately put the blender in the OFF position to
prevent the motor from overheating and let it cool down.
▪ Blend the ingredients only for a few seconds at a time. Repeat this a few times. If
you blend for a longer period of time at once, you may get a mushy result.
SELECTION OF THE SPEED
Put the switch either on position 1 to 6 or 7 to 12. The hardness of the ingredients
will determine to a large extent which position to use. The "pulse" function can only
be used, when the switch is on the "0" position. The motor will run as long as you
keep the switch on the "Pulse" function. As soon as you will release it, the motor will
stop.
