side of the Connect AP
- connect the tree prods of the high flow pump cable directly to
the pump terminal board of the Connect AP
- boilers from inside only: connect up the earth cablehead to the
multiple earth faston in the boiler
- boilers from outside only: cut the earth faston, peel the wire and
connect to the boiler terminal board M6 keeping to the order of
the colours
HIGH LIMIT THERMOSTAT LOW TEMPERATURE CONNECTION
(not supplied)
In case of low temperature installation is strongly, consult to install
a safety high limit thermostat on the delivery pipe beyond the
Connect AP.
Make the high limit thermostat electrical connection directly to the
boiler terminal board.
To gain access to the terminal board (M10) on the boiler, refer to
the "Electric Connections" chapter of boilers's instruction manual.

Connect the two prods of the high flow pump cable to the terminal
board (M10) on the boiler as shown in the diagram.
In case of installation of settable high limit thermostat, make
sure to set thermostat according to the installation
characteristics.
FIRST STARTING UP
Before switching the Connect AP on, check that the electrical and
plumbing connections have been formed correctly.

During testing, the temperature can be checked due to the
thermometer shown in the figure.
CIRCULATION PUMP
The Connect AP is supplied with circulator with a three-speed
control.
Choose the best speed to suit the specific characteristics of the
systems.
RELEASING THE PUMP IF NECESSARY
If the unit has been inactive for a lengthy period of time and the
circulator are stuck, unscrew the caps on the front and turn the
shaft for the circulator motor using a screwdriver.
Do this extremely carefully so as not to damage the components
themselves.
PROGRAMMING PARAMETERS
To set the parameters for working with the Connect AP:
Access the boiler's programmable parameters as indicated in the
"programming parameters" chapter of the boiler's instruction
manual.
Heating mode
Select parameter 20 (heating mode), choose option 3 (Connect
AP) and confirm it.
CHECKS AFTER INSTALLATION
- Check that the heating system is pressurised.
- Check that the main switch for the plant works.
- Check the plumbing circuits for leaks.
- Check that the plumbing and electrical connections are correct.
If even one of these checks provides a negative result, the system
must not be started up.
CLEANING
Before cleaning the Connect AP in any way disconnect the mains
power supply by switching the main switch to "OFF".
The panels must be cleaned with a cloth, using soap and water.
If stubborn stains are found, use a cloth with a 50% water and
denatured alcohol mixture, or use specific products.
Once cleaning is complete, dry carefully.
Do not use abrasive products, benzene, or trichloroethylene.
