• Do not immerse the mains cord or plug in water or any
other liquid. This can lead to fire, electric shock or personal
injury.
• Never poke your fingers through the toast rack while the
appliance is connected to the mains or switched on.
• Never toast any food with toppings or fillings that become
soft or runny when heated.
• The toast rack, heating elements and metal parts become
very hot in use. When using the toaster touch only the
controls made of synthetic materials.
• Never cover the appliance during use or while still hot.
• Never wind the mains cord around the toaster during or
after use. A cord storage facility is located on the under-
side of the toaster.
• Allowing flammable materials such as curtains, fabrics,
wallpaper or similar to cover or come into contact with
the toaster is a fire hazard.
• Do not attempt to clean the toaster of food remains
while it is connected to the mains.
• Bread can catch fire: never use the toaster near flammable
materials such as curtains.
• The appliance is not suitable for use with an external
timer or separate remote control.
• Never use the appliance without the crumb tray in place.
It is important to clean the crumb tray before each use.
• Never use the appliance without the toast rack in place.
The toast rack must always be placed securely in position.
• The heating elements can easily be damaged by contact
with metal objects. Danger of electric shock!
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts
• To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug
from wall outlet.
• Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must not
be inserted in a toaster as they may involve a risk of fire or
electric shock.
