Introduction
Before starting to use the tool please read
the instruction manual carefully.
Use this unit only for approved operations.
Mounting and assembly of connecting material or cutting
of cables with this tool must
only be performed by specially trained personnel. The mi-
nimum age is 16 years.
This instruction manual has to be carried along during the
entire life span of that tool.
The operator has
• to guarantee the availability of the instruction manual
for the user and
• to make sure, that the user has read and understood
the instruction manual.

Warranty
If correct operation is guaranteed and regular service is
provided our warranty is 1 year
from the time of delivery.

Description of the electro-hydraulic
pump
3.1 Description of components
The electro-hydraulic pump type EHP4 consists of the fol-
lowing components:

3.2 Description of the operation- and con-
trol functions
First turn the the main switch (pic. 1.1) into the position
on. Then turn the control mode switch (pic. 1.11) into po-
sition 1. The next move is to choose the intended ope-
ration by turning the operating mode switch (pic. 1.12).
Afterwards the working process (e.g. punching, bending,
cutting, crimping) is initiated by actuating the safety foot
switch (pic. 1.7). The working process proceeds automati-
cally and will not stop before the max. operating pressure
is reached. The pump will stop the forward motion of the
working unit immediately after having released the safety
foot switch.
