Installation or disassembly

of the device installation or disassembly, is

Below are the most important requirements
Before installation
1. Read chapter: Guide to safe installation.
2. The device is intended for operation in
a vertical position with heating element
turned upwards.
3. Use a suitable heating medium (water /
glycol mixture).
4. Do not turn the device on if not immersed
in water or other liquid as it could cause
damage to thermal fuse and will not be
liable for claim under warranty.
5. Ensure all necessary safety measures
in order to avoid excessive pressure in-
side the radiator (allow space for an ad-
equate aircushion or leave at least one
of the central heating valves open).

Intended use

The Heizstab 4 is an electric heating device
intended for installation inside a radiator
/ towel warmer. Radiators / towel heaters
with built-in Heizstab 4 can also be used

and guidelines which should be strictly fol-
lowed in order to ensure a long term, un-
failing operation of device.
6. Ensure all necessary safety measures in
order to avoid excessive pressure inside
the radiator (allow the right space for air-
bag or leave at least one of the central
heating valves open).
7. To prevent damage to the heating el-
ement, the radiator must not be filled
with liquid with a temperature higher
than 65°C.
8. Make sure that connection 'radiator –
heater' is tight prior to filling the radia-
tor with heating medium.
