Operation

Once you have established all connections and verified them again, your subwoofer is ready for operation.
Turn the LEVEL (2) controller all the way back to the MIN position.
Put the CROSSOVER (3) controller to the middle position.
Put the PHASE (1) controller to the 0° position.
Set the desired operating mode with the POWER (5) switch.
Switch on the connected amplifier and start playback.
Set a medium volume at the amplifier.
Adjust the subwoofer volume to that of the remaining speakers with the LEVEL (2) controller. The subwoofer
should not stand out acoustically. No drone effect should occur.
Adjust the crossover frequency to the playback characteristics of your other speakers with the CROSSOVER (3)
controller.
The subwoofer should complement the present speakers in the low-range bass area. Set the crossover frequency
as low as possible without causing any peaks or "gaps" in the frequency band. The LEVEL (2) controller may have
to be readjusted after this setting is made.
Put the PHASE (1) switch in the position that will achieve the cleanest playback. No drone effect should be heard.
The bass should not be "swollen" or "droning".
Switch off the connected amplifier again.
Switch off the subwoofer again. If you set the POWER (5) switch to AUTO, this will happen automatically after
a delay.
