4.7 Temperature measurement
The provided temperature sensor allows temperature measurements
between -20° C and 200° C.
The CorroScout
temperatures between 0° C and 100° C. There is a high measuring
accuracy in the temperature range between 18° C and 28° C.
Proceed as follows:
1. Set the CorroScout
2. Use the connecting lead with the temperature sensor.
3. Connect the red plug with the 'V/Ohm/mA/°C' input jack and
connect the black plug with the 'COM' input jack.
4. Contact the temperature sensor with the dead medium to be
measured.
Caution: observe the operating conditions, see below!
5. The temperature is shown on the display.
Notes: The medium to be measures must be dead; applied voltage
can cause harm to the user and can also damage the measuring
device or the technical equipment!
In case of a temperature outside the range between 18° C and
28° C, only the temperature sensor may be exposed to the medium
to be measured.
