3.5 Operation position
Always operate the measuring device in such a way that the display
can be easily read and that it is pointing upwards.
3.6 Disposal of old devices

Electrical Appliance Law (13.08.2005) applicable in all EU countries.

3.7 Insertion and replacement of the battery
For proper operation, CorroScout
block battery. When the battery replacement symbol appears in the
display the battery must be replaced. To replace the battery proceed
as follows:
Disconnect CorroScout
switch it off.
Remove the measuring leads from the device.
Undo the fastening screws under the black rubber caps on the
back (bottom) of the device with a suitable screwdriver (Phillips type).
Carefully remove the lower shell of the housing locked at the top
of the device.
Carefully disconnect the battery from the connection clip.
Replace the used battery with a new one of the same type.
