3/ Depending of the height of your ceiling, choose from the 2 supplied tubes, 5 or 10in. By
default, the black hanger ball is installed on the tube of 5in. If you want to use the 10in tube
(or the 35 or 47in extension tube sold as an option), loosen and remove the 2 screws from
the hanger ball, lower it to remove the pin, then remove the hanger ball. Install it on the new
tube by reversing the steps above, only 1 possible direction, the hanger ball is installed on
the side of the tube where there is a small hole provided for the security screw.
4/ Place the 2 canopies correctly on the tube, remove the pin then the spindle of the motor
block and loosen the 2 screws. Pass the wires and connectors inside the tube and collect
them on the other side of the tube ; hanger ball side (if necessary remove the hanger ball
and put it back after). Then position the tube correctly on the motor (only one possible
direction, black hanger ball towards the ceiling), put the spindle by passing it into the hole of
the tube (be careful to not damage the wires passing inside) then put back the pin. Finally
tighten the 2 screws so that the tube is fixed.
5/ Connect the connectors. Loosen the 4 nuts on the light support, align the bolts with holes
of the light kit and tighten back the 4 nuts.
6/ IMPORTANT : Assemble the blades only after the ceiling fan is mounted on the
hook. Remove the screws and washers on the motor used to attach the blades. Position
each blade on the motor and replace the screws and washers. Caution, tighten the screws
carefully to avoid damaging the blades, but be sure to tighten properly to prevent excessive
vibration during start-up.
