These operating instructions are part of the product. They contain important information on how to set up and use
the device. Please retain these operating instructions for future reference.
Introduction:
Nano Lux LED 18 W: The Nano Lux LED light is the ideal light for the Dupla Nano Cube 80 or all other similar sized
fresh water aquaria. The balanced mixed light not only ensures the animals have brilliant colours, but particularly
promotes healthy, strong plant growth. The included dimmer allows adapting the LED to the specific light requi-
rements of the aquarium. In addition, the dimmer can be used to add a blue moonlight to produce a near-natural
lighting change. So you can even watch aquarium inhabitants at night.
Safety instructions For LED lights:
· Never look directly into the LED lights! Improper use of this light may be
dangerous to the eyes.
· This LED light is not suitable as residential lighting.
· Photobiological safety according to DIN EN 62471: Risk group 1 (low risk).
· Do not cover the LED light.
· Indoor use only.
· Do not operate the LED light under water.
· This LED light must be at least 15 mm from the water surface.
· Always disconnect the LED light from the mains before carrying out maintenance or
cleaning.
· The mains plug for the LED light must always be accessible with the light installed.
· Never operate the LED light if the connecting cable or the plug is damaged.
· If the connecting cable or plug of the LED light is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
customer service.
· Ensure adequate ventilation when installing the LED light inside an aquarium cover.
· Never reach for the LED light if it has fallen into water. In this case always immediately unplug the mains plug.
Allow to dry completely.
· Never install the power supply on or in the cover frame. The power supply can reach temperatures up to 85° C.
· The aquarium and appliance should be positioned next to a wall socket to prevent water from splashing onto the
socket, power supply or plug. For your safety it's advisable to make a drip loop with the mains cord to prevent
water running along the cord from entering the outlet (see illustration). (Abbildung Tropfschlaufe)
· The LED lights in the light strip are not replaceable.
