We would like to congratulate you on
the purchase of our acoustic module
MA-1 and hope that it will serve you
well for a long time to come.
You have chosen a modern and relia-
ble system. Please read the opera-
ting instruction through carefully to
be able to start the unit correctly and
to familiarize yourself with all of the
system features.
With the Acoustic Module MA-1 you
can extend every unit that has a
connector socket (3.5 mm jack) for
the vibrating pillow with a very loud
acoustic tone.
Standard components
Please check if all listed items are
included:

- Acoustic module MA-1

- Connecting cable
- 12 V-power supply unit

- Operating instructions

- Warranty card
If any parts are missing, please imme-
diately contact your dealer or the
manufacturer directly.
Installation
Attach the connecting cable to one of
the two connector sockets for the sig-
nal source at the back of the acoustic
module MA-1 . Plug the other end of
the cable into a unit with a connector
socket for a vibrating pillow, e.g.
alarm clock DS-1, VC-1/VC-10, time
flash / lisa time flash , lisa receiver
(table flash lamp, RF flash lamp, RF
blink lamp, portable radio receiver).
Plug the 12 V-power supply unit in
the respective socket at the back of
the acoustic module MA-1 .
Note
A vibrating pillow or another module
(e.g. flash module) can be plugged
into the empty connector socket at the
back of the acoustic module MA-1 .
Signalling
Upcoming signals (e.g. wake-up
alarm, lisa alarm) are signalled by a
very loud acoustic tone.
Special features
Volume: continuously adjustable
(max. 100 dB)
Tone pitch: continuously adjustable
(100-2000 Hz)
Power failure backup: with a 9 V bat-
tery. (Battery not included.)
The acoustic module MA-1 can also
be operated on just a 9 V battery.
