The rechargeable batteries in the hair/beard trimmer reach their optimal performance
after they have been charged and discharged three times. Completely discharge the
batteries before charging them again in order to guarantee a long battery life.
To completely discharge the device, run it until it comes to a complete standstill.
OPERATION
Tip:
The hair that you want to trim should be clean and dry.
• Comb through the hair carefully to remove any tangles.
• Lay a hairdressing cape or towel around the throat and neck in order to keep the cut
hair from falling under the collar.

CUTTING HAIR:

Tip: Begin with a longer attachment and trim the hair step by step to the desired
length.
Cutting length attachments :
• Take the cutting length attachment that matches the desired length of the hair (4-6
mm / 10-12 mm / 16-18 mm / 22-24 mm / 28-30 mm).
• Insert the selected cutting length attachment on to the cutting unit from the back.
Make sure that both pins of the attachment snap into place correctly in the recesses at
the side of the trimming head holder.
• Always cut only small sections at one time.
• Guide the hair/beard trimmer slowly through the hair.
• When trimming, hold the device so that the selected cutting length attachment lies as
flat as possible.
• Always cut from the neck towards the top of the head or from the forehead and
temples up towards the middle of the head.
CUTTING WITHOUT ATTACHMENT:
Caution: The trimmer head is very sharp.
Risk of injury!
You can cut hair to a length between 0.8 mm and 2.8 mm if you do not use a cutting
length attachment.
For fine adjustment of the length, slide the setting to the desired length.
Cutting contours at the hairline, neck and sideburns:
• Turn the device so that the back is pointing up.
• Lay the edge of the cutting unit without cutting length attachment at the desired
level of the hairline.
• Move the running hair/beard trimmer downwards.
