IDENTIFICATION OF PARTS
Dryer mode(optional)
Setting the dryer mode will maximize the dehumidification function.
The fan speed will be set to high. The humidity level is
automatically controlled according to the rooms actual humidity
level. When the maximum 10-hour operation level has been
reached the unit will stop the dryer mode.
NOTE
The Dryer mode must be operated in a closed room, do not
open any doors or windows.
To achieve the most effective dehumidification, please remove
as much excess water from the clothes as possible.
Make sure to direct the airflow towards the wet clothes (See Fig.A).
The most effective dehumidification results may not occur with
thick and heavy clothes.
CAUTION
Do not cover the air outlet of the unit with clothes. This may
cause excessive heat, fire or failure of the unit.
Do not place wet clothes on top of the unit or allow water to drip
into the unit. Doing so may cause electric shock,

Unit Placement

A dehumidifier operating in a basement will have little or no effect in drying an adjacent enclosed
storage area, such as a closet, unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.
Do not use outdoors.
This dehumidifier is intended for indoor residential
applications only. This dehumidifier should not be used
for commercial or industrial applications.
Place the dehumidifier on a smooth, level floor strong
enough to support the unit with a full bucket of water.
Allow at least 20cm of air space on all sides of the unit
for good air circulation.
Place the unit in an area where the temperature will not
fall below 5ºC(41ºF). The coils can become covered with
frost at temperatures below 5ºC(41ºF), which may reduce
performance.
Place the unit away from heaters, radiators, and clothes dryers.
Use the unit anywhere valuables are stored to
prevent moisture damage.
Use the dehumidifier in a basement to help prevent
moisture damage.
The dehumidifier must be operated in an enclosed
area to be the most effective.
Close all doors, windows and other outside openings
to the room.

Operational Tips

When first using the dehumidifier, operate the unit
continuously for 24 hours.
This unit is designed to operate with a working
environment between 5ºC/41ºF and 35ºC/95ºF.
If the unit has been switched off and needs to be
switched on again quickly, allow approximately
three minutes for the correct operation to resume.
Do not plug the dehumidifier into an outlet that is being
used by other appliances.
Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy
access to an electrical outlet.
Plug the unit into an electrical socket-outlet with a ground
connection.
Make sure the water bucket is positioned correctly to
ensure proper operation.
NOTE: Please be careful moving the unit when it has water
in it as it may tip over.
