• UPGRADES
The kapten NG upgrade management application, called Kapmanager
NG, is supplied on the kapten NG. To install this application, connect
your device to your computer (PC running Microsoft Windows 2000
or higher, or Mac running Mac OS 10.4 or higher) using the USB cable
supplied. Run your operating system's file explorer and double click on the
KapmanagerNG-intaller.exe file for a PC or KapmanagerNG-installer.dmg
for a Mac. Then follow the installation instructions displayed on-screen.
Regular running of this application
automatically download all available product upgrades, e.g.
upgrades to the kapten NG software, speed trap database updates,
etc. Kapmanager NG can also be used to take a full backup of the
product.

In addition to the navigation functions, the home screen menu offers 4
shortcuts:
: back to home screen. Also used to stop the current navigation.
: configuration. Used to configure the device, especially the
preferences as regards each means of travel.
: map mode. Used to track one's position and move. Also used to
return to a current navigation.
: Ktag manager. Ktags are points of personal interest. This shortcut
is used to access the menu for managing these addresses.
Select your means of travel from the
home screen, using the appropriate icon –
pedestrian, bicycle, motorbike or car.
