Attention!
Under no circumstance operate the device while it is
open. Do not leave used batteries in the device,
because even leak protected batteries can corrode
and set free chemicals, which can damage your
health or destroy the battery case. Please keep in
mind that used and damaged batteries toxic waste
and that they have to be disposed in environmental-
ly friendly way. You can return your used batteries
without any costs at the collecting points of your
community, in our stores or everywhere, where bat-
teries or accumulators are sold. There are specially
signed collecting boxes. Used batteries may not be
disposed into the normal house waste.
B taking into operation
B1 basic setting
With the button "I" (in the circle) you turn the metering device on or
off. The device can also be turned off via the Auto-Power-Off func-
tion. Auto-Power-Off means the automatic shut down of the device
into the so called "Sleep-Mode" ("Stand-by"). The device will turn
"off" after about 30 min, if no buttons are pushed or the Auto-
Power-off function has not been deactivated before.
The Auto-Power-Off function can be deactivated by pushing the
"Hold" button when turning on the luxmeter.
Attention!
From a housing temperature of about +60°C upward
it can Happen that the display darkens or the liquid
crystal becomes black and the display can not be
read anymore the luxmeter is not damaged. The
blackening will disappear as soon as the temperatu-
re falls below approximately 60°C (read through the
technical data, especially the range of operating
temperature of the metering device).
