waste; it should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be
returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental

Safety Instructions

Keep this device away from children and unauthorized users.
Be very careful: touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks.
Keep power cables away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
DO NOT disassemble or open the cover under any circumstances. Touching live wires can

Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids. Never put objects
filled with liquid on top of the device.
Do not use near inflammable products or in explosive atmospheres. Heat can cause fire to
inflammable products even when they are not in sight. Only use in properly ventilated rooms.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized dealer for service
and/or spare parts.

Do not crimp the current leads and protect them against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace
them if necessary.

Do not use if the cables and clamps show any damage. Do not attempt to service the device yourself
but contact an authorised dealer.

All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications
to the device is not covered by the warranty.

Do not expose the device to full sunlight or high temperatures. Keep the ventilation slots free of dirt
and obstacles at all times.

Never connect multiple batteries simultaneously.
•
Do not short-circuit the charging clamps.

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
Keep this device away from dust and extreme heat.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the
device.

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
•
Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.
•
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
