IMPORTANT
•
This Communicator must be installed only by QUALIFIED PERSONNEL,
indoors in a safe, dry place, away from radio-transmitters.
• Carefully choose the installation location of this communicator
so as to ensure a good GSM signal coverage.
To correctly install the
follows:
1. Open the container by sliding the lid upwards
2. Remove the PCBA by sliding it on the binary
3. If necessary, mark the fixing holes position to mount the base
4. Fix the base to the wall using 5mm diameter screws or mount it on a
DIN503 box
5. Pass the connecting cables through the opening on the base
6. Insert the PCBA by sliding it on the binary
7. Insert at least one SIM card on the "SIM1" housing and eventually a
second SIM on "SIM2" housing
8. Perform the necessary links
9. Eventually connect the auxiliary antenna
10. Power the PCBA
11. Close the plastic box
12. Perform any working tests on device
In order to maintain the conformity listed on page 15, the GSM communicator gemino has
to be installed inside the Control Panel metallic cabinet.
