1. Introduction
These operating instructions provide important information
on the correct installation and operation of the device. Please
read the instructions completely and carefully before
installation.
The user manual is an integral part of the
product and contains important information about operation
and handling.
Always observe all the safety instructions.

Proper use

This device is intended for detection of carbon monoxide. It is
for use in private households. It´s compact size makes it
ideal make it easily transportable so that it can provide
valuable protection in holiday apartments or caravans.
Detection of harmful levels of carbon monoxide will be shown
by optical and acoustic indicators. A Power-LED indicates
function and a Fault-LED indicates a fault in the device.
In normal use the lifetime of the device is up to 10 years.
Write the installation date of the device on the right hand side
of the housing using a permanent marker.
The device must be installed by a competent person following
this user manual.
Attention:

Under certain circumstances, this carbon monoxide
alarm may not provide adequate protection to persons
who because of their age, because of pregnancy, or
because of illness are especially susceptible to the effects
of carbon monoxide. If in doubt, ask your GP.

Devices designed to detect carbon monoxide are not a
substitute for the correct installation and regular
maintenance of fuel-fired equipment or regular chimney
cleaning and maintainance thereof!

This carbon monoxide alarm is not suitable for use as a
smoke alarm or as a de a detector of combustible gases!
