INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING AND USING THE
®
SKIMMY
FILTER
Read carefully this manual before installing the apparatus and follow all the instructions.
Keep this manual for future consultations regarding the functioning of the Skimmer.
Everything regarding electrical input must be referred to the regulations:
NF C 15-100 / NF EN 60-335-2-41 / EN 60-335-2-55 / CEI 64-8
Or to the analogous regulations in force in each zone or country.
All the filters follow the installation regulation NF C 15-100, concerning that each electrical
apparatus placed less than 3,5 m from the edge of the pool and easily accessible must be
supplied in low tension 12 volts.
Do not operate the apparatus while the poo l is being used.
Do not operate the apparatus without water.
Always disconnect the electrical input tap when the apparatus must be handled.
The cable of the pump must be connected to a 30mA differential switch.
Never use the apparatus for more than 4 consecutive hours.
If the flexible power supply cable of the apparatus is damaged, it should be replaced. Read
instructions how to replace it carefully. If in doubt, consult your technical service.

INSTALLATION
This equipment is easy to install and can be assembled by AN ADULT in around ½ HOUR, taking care to
correctly follow the instructions detailed in this manual at all times.
The purifier must be installed downwind from the prevailing breezes (Fig.1). The filtering system is
mounted on the edge of the pool by means of the mounting bracket. The purifier must be placed in the
pool so that the float is at pool water level (the mounting bracket may be adjusted by means of the
adjustment handle as shown in figure 2). The water level should be checked visually on a regular
basis.
To better secure the filter on the walls of plate-metal pools, a special wedge is provided, to be fitted
externally as shown in fig. 4.
Balance the apparatus so that it is level on the vertical plane.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Everything regarding the electrical connection must be in observance of the regulations:
Referred to " the construction of electrical connections both in indoor and outdoor
swimming pools ", or to the analogous regulations in force in each zone or country.
The transformer must be placed at least 3,5 meters away from the pool, in accordance
with the AFNOR C15-100. The purifier's electrical cable cannot be replaced. If the cable
is damaged, the entire device must be discarded and replaced.
