3.3. ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT WITH THE LEVER
The cutting height can be adjusted during use of the clippers, with the adjusting
lever (Fig. 1-C):
Push the lever upwards to reduce the cutting height.
Push the lever downwards to increase the cutting height.
3.4. USING THE COMB ATTACHMENTS
The
clippers
(Fig. 1, refs. E-J).
Place the comb attachment on the blade and clip it in at the rear. When the
comb attachment is correctly fixed, it is immobilized.
3.5. REPLACING CUTTERS
Switch the clippers off and unplug the power pack from the mains power
supply.
Take the screws out of the cutters (Fig. 3) and remove the upper and lower
cutters.
During their assembly, the upper and lower cutters must be aligned as instructed
below:
Set the adjusting lever to the minimum cutting height.
The distance between the front edge of the lower cutter and the front edge of
the upper cutter must be between 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm.
The upper and lower cutters must be set parallel.
The end tooth on the upper cutter (on the left-hand end) must cover the end
tooth on the lower cutter.
The other end tooth on the upper cutter (on the right-hand end) must also
touch the corresponding end tooth on the lower cutter (on the right-hand end).
Tighten the two screws (Fig. 4).
