The standard distance of the system reaches up to 15 m in an open area depending on a surrounding
without disturbing effects (e.g. metal stud framing, reinforced concrete ceilings, other signals or similar).
The signal repeater allows to cover distances up to 30 m in an open area under ideal conditions. The
minimum distance between a slave unit and a master unit has to be at least 50 cm.

Status Indicator
The COLOR CONTROL Master Controller has a status indicator which displays the following modes
Blue: Regular operation status
Short white flash: new command executed
Long white flash: reaching mode or color cycle edge
Long yellow flash: reaching speed or brightness limit
Red flash: Overload protection active
Yellow flash: Overheat protection active
Setting up the zones
Setting up the zones is done after the complete installation and connection of all components of the
system. Before setting up the zones it is helpful to create a plan on the assignment of the components
to each zone. Setting up may start with any zone. Notice: When using the Color Control wall panel the
zones cannot be set up by the remote control.
1. Turn on master unit and switch the slave units dead that are supposed to be assigned
to the zone. The slaves must be off power for at least 5 seconds.

Start again with step 1 to set up the other zones.
Integrating the signal repeater
The signal repeater (470674) is utilized to reach a greater distance. The signal repeater is assigned to
one zone.
1. Switch the signal repeater dead for at least 5 seconds. Turn on again afterwards.
2. Within the next 5 seconds push the buttons Speed and White only simultaneously either on
the remote control or the wall panel.
3. Push the button of the zone to which the signal repeater should be assigned.
Integrating additional remote controls
A master unit may be controlled by up to 5 remote controls. To assign an additional remote control
proceed with the following steps.
