Probing should be done on gilts that are contemporaries and that are at or near market weight.
The lean-meater is powered by a NICAD rechargeable battery assembly which will typically last for 1,000 charges. Battery
assemblies are specially designed for high reliablility operation. For optimum performance replacements should be obtained
from the factory. Battery is permanently connected to assure reliable operation under adverse conditions. Replacement
should only be done by a qualified electronic service technician.
DANGER! Do not use the lean-meater when connected to charger.
WARNING! High voltage is present in unit. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
