pliance with prevailing regulations and is for well ventilated indoor installation. Read all instructions before installing or
using this appliance.

6. TECHNICAL INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Th ese instructions are for you to perform installation, operating, and maintenance of the appliance.

6.1 PRECAUTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION

Th is device is for installation in a location with adequate ventilation only in order to prevent a concentration of subs-
tances harmful to health within the premises where it is installed.
Th e appliance is for inside installation in a well-ventilated location in compliance with prevailing regulations only.
* For installation on a non combustible surface only.
Check that the voltage and frequency characteristics of the device are the same as those of the electrical supply network.
Check that all elements of the device are perfectly located and that they have not suff ered any dislocation during transport.
Check that the unit has been perfectly placed in compliance with prevailing regulations in the country for which it is intended.
It is advisable to place the device underneath an extractor to ensure the complete evacuation of combustion gases and
smoke generated during cooking.
Th e appliance must be installed at least at a distance of 5 cm from its sides and rear to protect it against temperatures
that may be accumulated in the walls.
Check the dimensions and weight of the plancha appliance before placing it onto the surface destined for its location.
If the power cord is damaged, it mus be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualifi ed person-
nel in order to avoid any danger.
