Before use
When using the electric blanket for the first time, please set the temperature position to 9 and
leave the blanket for 5 hours, before going to bed. This helps remove any humidity present in the
electric blanket. When using the electric blanket for the first time you may notice an unpleasant
smell. This is normal and will disappear after a while.
Temperature settings
•
Turn the on/off switch to the "On" position.
•
The temperature in the body and feet section can be individually controlled. Please note two
separate displays on the controller. To set the temperature in the body section, press the
button "Body". The setting of the temperature can be changed by pressing the button again
turning it to the desired setting (0‐9). To set the temperature in the feet section, press the
button "Feet". The setting of the temperature can be changed by pressing the button again
turning it to the desired setting (0‐9).
•
With the "Timer" button you can set the operation time, selecting between 1 hour, 5 hours, 8
hours and 12 hours. The setting of the time can be changed by pressing the button again
turning it to the desired setting. If the timer is not set, the standard operation time will be 1
hour.
Warning: the highest temperature setting (9) is for preheating the blanket only and not
recommended for continuous operation.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Note:
•
Do not clean the blanket chemically, do not bleach, do not iron and do not dry it in the
tumble dryer!
•
The electric wiring is completely watertight.
Removing stains
•
Put the switch to "OFF" and remove the plug from the wall socket.
•
Remove stains with a damp sponge with a mild detergent.
•
Remove any excess water by patting it with a dry cloth.
Hand‐washing
Note: do not use the hand‐wash program of the washing machine!
•
Put the switch to "OFF" and remove the plug from the wall socket.
•
Detach the controller.
•
Immerse the blanket in lukewarm water with a detergent for fine fabrics and allow the
blanket to soak for 5 minutes.
•
Hand‐wash the blanket and rinse well with lukewarm water.
•
After washing, press the water out of the blanket with a flat hand and let the blanket dry
completely.
Note: do not wring the blanket, as this may damage the internal wiring.
